*Please note that refugee cases included in the BVOR program are selected by IRCC from UNHCR referrals only and cannot be named by sponsors.
Prepare for a Successful Start to Sponsorship
BVOR sponsors, get ready to welcome the refugees you've sponsored!
Join us on Wednesday, October 23 from 2 to 3:30 pm EDT to learn about:
* calculating a budget
* understanding and accessing RAP support
* planning for the first few days and weeks after arrival
* connecting to settlement support and other local resources
* communication before and after arrival
* keeping records of sponsorship support
This webinar will also be helpful to people who are getting ready to sponsor through the BVOR program but have not yet been matched with a refugee family.
