Introduction to the Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program (IET 101)
*This E-training Course Runs from October 7th to December 8th 2024

This introductory course is for those who are interested in learning about the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program.
In this course you will learn about the different types of sponsoring groups, the Canadian Immigration programs for refugee resettlement, refugee and sponsor eligibility requirements, the application process, settlement planning, calculating the cost of sponsorship, overseas processing, and post-arrival responsibilities.

Participants will also have the option to engage with the course facilitator, other participants, and enhance their learning by participating in weekly video chat sessions and discussion forums.
