We would like to let you know that Canadian Council for Refugees will be hosting a virtual meeting for Groups of Five and Community Sponsors with participation of the representatives from the IRCC.

The Canadian Council for Refugees is holding a virtual meeting on June 1 with representatives from IRCC intended for those involved in a Group of Five or Community Sponsor private refugee sponsorship, Group 2 to 5 in Quebec, and those who work with or support these sponsors.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to hear updates from IRCC representatives and ask them questions.

Please pass this invitation on to others involved in sponsorship who might be interested in attending the meeting.

Date: Wednesday June 1st 2022

The meeting will last 90 minutes and will start at:

7pm Eastern time
8pm Atlantic time

This meeting is part of a series of virtual meetings hosted by the CCR since 2019 to create a space for G5 sponsors to connect, network, and discuss common challenges or concerns.

Le Conseil canadien pour les réfugiés organise une réunion virtuelle le 1er juin avec des représentantes d'IRCC, destinée aux personnes qui participent à un parrainage privé (collectif) de réfugiés par un groupe de cinq ou un répondant communautaire, par un groupe de 2 à 5 au Québec, et à ceux et celles qui travaillent auprès de ces parrains ou les soutiennent.

La réunion sera l'occasion d'entendre les mises à jour de la part des représentantes d'IRCC et de leur poser des questions.

Nous vous encourageons à transmettre cette invitation à d'autres personnes impliquées dans le parrainage qui pourraient être intéressées à assister à la réunion.
