There will be a walkthrough webinar of the matching database as a re-introduction and refresher for those who are going to be matching sponsor groups with profiles. The webinar is on March 28th at 1pm ET. Please register ahead at:

Dear Sponsors,

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is pleased to share that the Blended Visa Office-Referred (BVOR) program will resume on April 5, 2022. The Department would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout the last two years when the BVOR program was paused due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions, and we look forward to our continued partnership through the BVOR program.

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) will post available BVOR cases for matching with sponsors on their website on every other Tuesday, starting on Tuesday April 5th. Cases will be available for matching for up to 14 calendar days.

As the program resumes we would like to ensure that all referred refugees are matched with sponsors and strive for a positive sponsorship. To that end, we kindly encourage all sponsors to take advantage of and participate in upcoming trainings offered by the RSTP on the matching process, settlement capacity building and managing expectations.

Once again, on behalf of the Department, we would like to offer our deepest thanks to all sponsors for continuing to make a difference in the lives of refugees in need of resettlement.
