Some important things to know when confirming a match or cancelling a hold on the BVOR matching database.
Important note about the BVOR Matching Database

Dear BVOR sponsors,

Please note that we are experiencing a temporary glitch with the CONFIRM and CANCEL HOLD buttons on the BVOR Matching Database.

While we expect to resolve this issue soon, please email bvor at rstp.ca<mailto:bvor at rstp.ca> when you confirm or cancel a hold.

Please include the following in your email:

  *   Name of your sponsor group
  *   Your location
  *   Refugee profile #
  *   Your email/contact information.

 We will notify you as soon as the glitch is resolved.

A couple of additional notes based on your feedback and questions:

  *   There are 43 cases that were posted, totaling 169 individuals. Families and linked profiles count towards a single case.

  *   To balance the need of sponsors with the need for protection of vulnerable BVOR refugees, the Primary Reason for Resettlement is no longer a detail that will be shared on the Matching Database. Please reach out to us if you have questions regarding this matter.

  *   If you have a previous matching database membership created prior to 2022, we may need to reset your account. Database Registrations

  *   We are processing a large volume of registrations. If approved, you will receive an email from Outlook Sharepoint once we've created your sponsor group username. Please check your spam email folders.

  *   Once you receive the Outlook email confirming your addition to the database, the system may prompt you to create a free outlook user/email account to be able to log in. If you already have an outlook email address, you may choose to use your existing account or create a new one.

We thank you for your patience as we adapt to the new Matching Database and experience some anticipated growing pains. We are excited to see the amount of traffic on the site! We currently have 14 cases on hold and 3 confirmed matches.
