Starting today at 1 PM Eastern Time, sponsors can choose BVOR refugees to be matched with. Please take note of a couple of things before you begin.

If you are checking either of these before 1 PM Eastern Time, the matching database will look empty and the refugee profiles page on rstp.ca will be inaccessible until 1 PM (EDT) sharp.
  2.  If you registered for the database but have not received the email link, please check your spam folder first. The email comes from SharePoint Online. You may be prompted to create a Microsoft account if you do not already have one associated with your email address. If the email link is not in your spam folder, please contact bvor at rstp.ca<mailto:bvor at rstp.ca> asap.
  3.  There are 43 refugee profiles available in this first batch. The nationalities are a mix of Syrian, Afghan, Congolese, Somali, and others. The family sizes range from singles to larger families. Some have some additional comments that you will want to take note of as well.
  4.  There are a some LINKED CASES. Please remember that if you are selecting a case with a linked profile, both profiles need to be sponsored together.
  5.  There is a lot of interest and only so many profiles available today. If you are not able to put a hold on a profile today, please check back after a few days. Other holds may be lifted and become available again. More profiles will be posted every other Tuesday.
  6.  If this is your first time matching and if you missed our Refugee Matching Database orientation/walkthrough webinar, please contact our BVOR worker Paula at bvor at rstp.ca, we will also be posting a short instructional video in the coming weeks.
