[PSRList] Last call for Registration - RSTP’s Introduction to the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (IET101) online course enrolment will close on Sept 11th

Dear List Members:

This is reminder that registration will close on Sept 11th for the next session of the RSTP’s Introduction to the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (IET101) online course.

This online course consists of 8 weekly readings, quizzes and discussion forums, as well as a final exam. Students who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of completion from RSTP and will be given the opportunity to take the RSTP’s Advanced Training course (AET 201). There is no fee for taking either of these courses.

Course Start Date

The course will begin on Monday September 14, 2020.
Please see the attached course schedule for other important dates.

Registration Deadline

User account creation and course enrolment must be completed before:
12:00 noon on Friday, September 11, 2020.

To register, you will need to create an e-training user account, and then you will need to self-enrol for the course (see instructions below)

1. 2.     You will receive an automated confirmation request email once your registration has been submitted. Please open this email and click on the link provided to confirm your registration.
If you do not receive the automated email, please check your junk/spam folder first, if you still cannot see the automated confirmation request email, please email e-training at rstp.ca<mailto:e-training at rstp.ca>.

Introductory Course Enrolment Instructions

1.     Once your RSTP E-training User Account Creation has been confirmed, go to the RSTP’s online platform/website: etraining.rstp.ca<https://can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fetraining.rstp.ca&data=02%7C01%7C%7C5a43b1e2d27c4a022a7608d854dbca02%7Ca5827fca282b40a69875772ff7768431%7C0%7C0%7C637352651009003661&sdata=h3SVpAvpQUyEYyke%2FMomn4qmuDZxvk0hPlMtF9ajz6c%3D&reserved=0>. You may need to log-in (use the username and password you created upon registration):

2.     Click on the ‘Courses’ tab, which should be on the top left hand side of the page, then scroll to find and select ‘The Introduction to the Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program’:

4.     Select ‘Enrol me’ at the bottom of the page that pops up:

Your part of the enrollment is now completed. Shortly before the course begins, I will review your information to confirm that you reside in Canada and had enrolled in the course before the deadline, which is 12:00 noon on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Please note: you will not have access to the course readings, quizzes and discussion forums until the morning of September 14, 2020, which is the day the course begins.
