Please join RSTP and the Refugee Hub on September 25, 2019 for a webinar on the financial responsibilities of sponsors under the BVOR program, post arrival settlement support and managing expectations.

In the webinar we’ll review sponsors’ financial responsibilities; examine the relationship between the Sponsorship Cost Table/In-Kind Deduction Table and the RAP Rates; provide an overview of the RAP Rates and a demonstration of how to use them to calculate the minimum level of financial support required on arrival. We will also discuss the importance of connecting newcomers with a settlement agency; managing expectations; power imbalances; and, ethical considerations after arrival.
