[PSRList] Toronto: Two Workshops with IRCC on How to Prepare and Submit Group of Five and Community Sponsor Applications

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are hosting two workshops in Toronto on Monday June 04, 2018.

Kindly find the details of the two workshops below. Please note that all attendees must register for the workshops using the links in the descriptions as space is limited.


1)      Workshop with IRCC for Lawyers, Immigration Consultants and Settlement Workers on How to Prepare and Submit Applications for Groups of Five and Community Sponsors - Monday June 04, 2018, 9.30 am - 12.00 pm

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are hosting a workshop in Toronto for lawyers, immigration consultants and settlement workers that assist Groups of Five and Community Sponsors with preparing and submitting PSR applications.

Attendees will learn about:


*         How to complete the new application forms released on May 01, 2018;

*         The new requirements for Groups of Five and Community Sponsors that came into effect on May 01, 2018; and,

*         How IRCC processes PSR applications submitted by Groups of Five and Community Sponsors.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide feedback to IRCC on the new forms and requirements.

Kindly note that IRCC will not be answering any questions on PSR applications that are currently being processed, or have been refused, by ROC-O or Visa Offices abroad.

Sign-in will begin at 9.15 am and the workshop will start at 9.30 am. Light refreshments will be provided.

2)      Workshop with IRCC on How to Prepare and Submit an Application as a Group of Five or a Community Sponsor - Monday June 04, 2018, 6.00 pm - 8.30 pm

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are hosting a workshop in Toronto for individuals interested in submitting PSR applications as a Group of Five or a Community Sponsor.

Attendees will learn about:


*         How to complete the new application forms released on May 01, 2018;

*         The new requirements for Groups of Five and Community Sponsors that came into effect on May 01, 2018; and,

*         How IRCC processes PSR applications submitted by Groups of Five and Community Sponsors.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide feedback to IRCC on the new forms and requirements.
