Dear sponsors,

I hope this email finds you well. We still have 138 travel ready BVOR cases looking for sponsors. They can travel 6-12 weeks after application forms are approved. We can also try to get the families contact information if available after your application forms are approved.

The profiles are as follows :

  *   Majority of the cases have medium to none medical/resettlement needs

BVOR PROFILE #:  1146-04-18
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The spouse is pregnant and due for April 28th

Young Syrian couple. The spouse is pregnant and is expecting a baby boy in the next days.  The PA's father was a farmer. The PA has work experience as sergeant, also worked for an electricity company, but is also self-employed. He states that his family would feel more comfortable residing in an English speaking area as he worries it would be too difficult for him to learn French. The family is afraid to return to Syria because they fear for their safety. They have no contact in Canada, are seeking a better life and would appreciate the assistance of a sponsor during their resettlement in Canada.

This is an Eritrean family of 4 with 3 children. The PA is a single mother. She is a survivor of violence and torture. This family cannot return to their home country as they fear for their safety. The PA would appreciate the assistance of a sponsor during their resettlement in Canada.

25 year old Syrian Refugee.  He has a Bachelor's degree and experience working as a Pharmacist.   PA is a survivor of violence and he cannot return to his home country for fear of his/her safety stemming from his sexual orientation.  He has a partner is Toronto and would like to settle near him.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Fredericton, NB

A  young family of 6 Congolese Refugee currently residing in Kenya.  PA is 33, spouse 27 and kids 12, 4, 2, 1 years old.  PA  and his spouse can communicate in French easily and also has some English language ability, too. This couple has graduated from grade 12. PA has some storekeeper experience. The family has no major settlement/health needs in the community. As PA and spouse can communicate easily in French Fredericton, NB has been recommended as final destination for resettlement. The family will be eager to receive any assistance from sponsors towards their settlement in their new home.

VOR PROFILE #:  1199-05-18
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  PA has relation in London, ON

51 year old Syrian male with a wife and child. He has 9 years of education, and has a varied background in work experience, including factory work and farm work. His wife is 45 years old and has 8 years of education. Their son is a student. This family has a family connection in London, Ontario, and it is recommended that they are settled in the same area as this connection. The family has been persecuted in their home country and could benefit from the aid of a sponsor.

34 Syrian male and spouse is 35 years old with 5 young kids Syrian refugee family currently living in Beirut, Lebanon. PA has limited work experience. PA's spouse is construction labourer who can easily work in any community.  PA's spouse has friends in Halifax, NS that will be helpful for the establishment of this family in their new community of settlement.  Young family low settlement and health requirement.  The family will be happy to get assistance from sponsors in the community of settlement.

PA is 31 and spouse 21 with two children, Sudanese refugee family living in Amman, Jordan.  PA has English language ability and high school diploma  with job experience as Driver in the country of residence. His skills will help this family to be able to work and settle in any community in Canada. The family is eager and happy to receive  assistance from sponsors  when arrive to their community of settlement.

31 year old Syrian man married  with 2 young children. He has 9 years formal education and has working experience as an aluminium carpenter. The family is afraid to return to Syria because they fear for their safety. PA is seeking a better life and would appreciate the assistance of a sponsor during his resettlement in Canada. The PA has a cousin in Victoria, BC and would benefit from settling in Victoria for additional supports.

Eritrean family of 5 with 3 children. They have some education and no medical needs. This family cannot return to their home country as they fear for their safety. As the family doesn't have family in Canada, they would appreciate the assistance of a sponsor during their resettlement in Canada.

PA is a 40 year old single Burmese woman. She had secondary school education and speaks English. She has experience working as a retail shop supervisor. PA fear to return to Myanmar as she will face discrimination due to her ethnicity. As the PA is travelling alone and has no family ties in Canada, the assistance of a sponsor would greatly favour a successful resettlement in Canada.
