[PSRList] Workshop in Toronto: Transitioning to Month 13 - January 12 at 6:00 pm

Dear Sponsors,

The Refugee Sponsorship Training Program, and Lifeline Syria, is conducting a workshop on January 12 at 6:00 pm (registration will open at 5:45 pm) for new and experienced sponsors on Month 13 Planning, flyer attached.

Attendees will learn about:


* The post-sponsorship relationship and the dynamics of this relationship;

* When sponsors need to start preparing newcomers for Month 13; and,

* The role of sponsors during the "transition period," including important tasks to consider.

During the workshop, Karen Anderson, from Toronto Employment and Social Services (TESS), will answer questions that sponsors may have about applying for Ontario Works (OW) and the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP).

The workshop will be held at:
Room 200, Toronto Public Library, Northern District Branch, 40 Orchard View Blvd. Toronto
