We still have 54 BVOR cases available on the  RSTP BVOR matching database.

The profiles are as follows :

  *   Syrian, Eritrean, Congolese, Ethiopian, Iraqi and Somalian
  *   Very few larger families
  *   Women at risk
  *   More than half of the cases do not have preferred destination
  *   Majority of the cases have medium to none medical/resettlement needs

Here are Some of the Available BVOR Profiles:

BVOR PROFILE #: 0829-12-17
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: No Preferred destination
Syrian family size 7. The PA is a 36 year old married man with 5 children. He has 12 years of formal education and experience working as a farmer and construction worker. PA cannot return to his home country as he fears for his safety and persecution based on ongoing ethnic conflicts. The family will appreciate the assistance of the sponsor in the country of resettlement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: No Preferred destination
Syrian family size 2 .PA is a 42 year old married woman. She has six years of formal education. Her spouse has experience working as a cook. The PA cannot return to his home country as he fears for his safety and persecution based on ongoing ethnic conflicts. The family will appreciate the assistance of the sponsor in the country of resettlement.

BVOR PROFILE #:   0796-12-17
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Family prefers to be located near sister in law in Vancouver, BC. PA and spouse speak and read English
Eritrean family of four with two small children. The PA has experience working as a taxi driver. Both the PA and spouse speak and read English well. This family cannot return to their home country as they fear for their safety and would benefit from the support of a sponsor upon resettling in Canada.

BVOR PROFILE #:   0816-12-17
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Preferred destination: Hamilton/GTA near mother
Somalian family of six with four children. PA speaks little English, however, spouse and children speak English relatively well. The PA's mother was resettled in Hamilton, ON, so the family would benefit from settling near her. This family cannot return to their home country as they fear for their safety and would appreciate the support of a sponsor.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: No preferred destination.
Congolese family of 7. PA is a 46 year old male with a spouse and five children to care for. He has 3 years of education, and is experienced in farming and labour work. His wife has 4 years of education, and is also experienced with farming and labour work. The PA and his family were forced to leave their home country based on violent conflict, and would benefit from the aid of a sponsor.
